Josh Syrotchen | Men's & Women's Assistant Coach (Throws)

 

AT HARDING
Josh Syrotchen, a native of Spokane, Washington, was hired as Harding's throws coach Aug. 1, 2018.

In 2017, Syrotchen served as a volunteer throws coach and helped Harding break two outdoor throwing records.

TRACK AND FIELD CAREER
Syrotchen was a four-time All-American in the discus at Harding, twice placing second at NCAA nationals. He also qualified for the USA Outdoor National Championship twice. Syrotchen, Harding's outdoor record holder in the discus, hammer and weight throws, is currently a professional thrower.

EDUCATION
Syrotchen graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, Washington, in 2012 and earned his B.A. in business adminstration from Harding University in 2017.

FAMILY
Syrotchen is married to the former Victoria Wagner of St. Louis, Missouri. Victoria is an associate athletic trainer at Harding.
